Why Doesn't Law School Teach You To Become A Lawyer?

posted Nov 23, 2011 11:02 AM by Michael Carlson

The New York Times has a really interesting article on the issue of practical learning in law schools. I myself was fortunate this year to have both tenured professors and adjunct professors. Do I think that the UND School of Law does a poor job of preparing students for actual practice? No. But I do think that there is always room for improvement.
