The New York Times has a really interesting article on the issue of practical learning in law schools. It's pretty interesting to note that they make the correlation of low hiring rates for large law firms to the lack of service skills of young associates coming out of law school. I myself was fortunate this year to have both tenured professors and adjunct professors. Do I think that the UND School of Law does a poor job of preparing students for actual practice?
